SQUARE TWO

Well, things could be worse, I could be starting at "square one" again... The buyer's buyer went belly-up due to financing from his buyer. Being the last car in the pile-up, I got rear-ended too. My house's buyer is still interested, but he's gonna have to do some fancy footwork to close the deal, in the meantime, I have another possible buyer in the wings. Unfortunately, my countdown starts all over again.
I didn't cry or get totally hysterical this time. I just got a three-day migraine and rode it out, trying to come up with more ideas to rid myself of this concrete albatross. The only bright spot is that my daughter and I will be going down to San Jose for six days next week to hang out with my husband and, also, to deliver a bunch of baby furniture to our friends there. Their little girl is due in two weeks and the doting daddy has ordered some very cool baby items that I guess you just can't get in CR. Getting on in Miami with 300 lbs of stuff and a crowd-phobic 5 year old will be a good dry run for the real move.
So, while I REALLY wish this was the end of the home selling chapter of our saga, I don't think we've got that much longer to go. Cross your fingers...and whatever else you can think of!
