For those who've wondered:

The garage sale sucked. Both days. Sucked. Totally. I think I made about $100 all together. I trotted all of that crap out to the driveway starting at 7am. Ana showed up with a ton of stuff she had decided to purge from her life and rearranged it all according to price, size, mood, etc. Then we sat back and languished in the muggy 90-odd degree heat until the rain started.
If she hadn't shown up, I would've bagged it on day one by about 10:30am and gone back to bed. Where was everyone?! Caribbean is a fairly busy street and yet that Saturday and Sunday you would have thought it was a cul-de-sac!
Sunday, the rain started around 10am and never really let up. Not a real storm...we just sorta got peed on for two days. It was so depressing. At one point, we even managed to drag the leather love-seat out to the end of the driveway and then sat on it, like a couple of hicks, watching the empty street and insisting to ourselves that the fat,wet drops falling on us off and on were not really rain. That lasted about twenty minutes. Right up until we had to scramble to get everything crammed back into the garage because of the deluge.

Still, I'm not totally discouraged. Not about the garage sales and not about the house. I'll be having a garage sale every weekend until all of this stuff is gone and I can fit all of our worldly possessions into a 20ft container. As for the house? I'm going to have an open house this week. I'm going to get a legitimate buyer for this sucker, before the end of July and I'm going to get out of here. I will. I know it.

Yep. It's all going to fall into place. Hopefully before I lose my marbles completely.
